Contentsquare
Contentsquare is the go-to platform for understanding how users actually interact with your site or app. By visualizing every click, scroll and hesitation, it turns raw data into actionable CRO decisions.
What is Contentsquare?
CSQ is a digital experience analytics solution that complements classic metrics with analysis of visitors' actual behavior. Through its heatmaps, session replays and zone analyses, it reveals, page by page and segment by segment, why users abandon, hesitate or convert. It's the essential tool for prioritizing your CRO optimizations with behavioral evidence.
Since merging with Hotjar (July 1, 2025), the platform is organized into three products, each available in Free, Growth, Pro or Enterprise plans: Experience Analytics (session replay, heatmaps, zoning, journey analysis), Voice of Customer (surveys, feedback, usability testing) and Product Analytics, inherited from Heap. Sense, the AI layer, summarizes sessions and heatmaps, and Sense Analyst automates analysis as an autonomous agent. In July 2025, Contentsquare signed an agreement to acquire Loris AI, a conversation intelligence specialist. In October 2026, the vendor unveiled in beta a new Experience Platform bringing together web, mobile, conversations and AI agents.
When should you use Contentsquare?
The solution is particularly useful during CRO audits, redesigns of strategic pages (product pages, checkout funnel, landing pages), or when you want to validate a UX hypothesis with real behavioral data rather than self-reported data.
